Lower Austria offers visitors a number of producers, and the taste quality of their products varies a lot.

In Upper Austria, we must mention the famous FreistädterBier brewery in Freistadt. What makes it unique is that it is owned by the town's beer community and is traditionally run only by people who live outside the town walls.
Freistadt beer could be compared to the stronger Czech 12-ounce beer. It is characterised by a higher alcohol content, a significant amount of bitterness and an unmistakable bitterness.
What beer to taste in the Salzburg area?
In the Salzburg area, we must mention the Stiegl brewery. It brews one of the most famous beers in Austria, with a tradition that dates back to 1492.
